When Hat Hooks Go Wrong: Not a Single Brain Cell Left

New Era calling this the Brains 59FIFTY is criminally funny, because the only thing this hat proves is that somebody in the design room had no brain left in their head. Is this hook so bad it might actually be good? No. How many people had to greenlight this? Brains?

"Hey we need a halloween theme!"

"Uhhhh zombies eat brains?"

"Genius! Using that big brain of yours huh Sally! We will sell millions!"

Look at this Celtics hat! Feast your eyes!

New Era Brains 59FIFTY Celtics fitted hat

"Brains" as a theme on a Celtics fitted. Let's make a hat that says intellect, then remove all evidence of it.

And the worst part is the sale price thinks it deserves applause. A markdown does not make this hat smarter; it just makes the bad idea cheaper, which is somehow more insulting.

This is the kind of hat that gets listed, ignored, and then held up later as proof that not every discount is a blessing. Sometimes a sale is just the clearance aisle screaming for help.

Hatlock Holmes verdict: no brains, no grace, no sale enough to save it. The case is closed, and the hat should remain at the scene of the crime.
